Part A

Your Control

Choices Available to You

No matter where you are located, you can exercise any of the following by emailing support@rocketshield.co:

Permissions on Your Device

FAB Browser uses the Android runtime-permission model: each sensitive capability triggers a system dialog the first time it is needed, and you decide whether to grant or deny it. Granted permissions can be revoked at any time through your device’s system settings. Denying a permission will not break the browser — only the specific feature that depends on it will be unavailable.

The capabilities FAB Browser may request are listed below, together with the data each permission can access and how that data is used:

Camera — lets you take photos or videos for file-upload fields on web pages when you approve.
Microphone — enables voice input and websites that need audio capture.
Location — allows websites that request your position (e.g., maps or local-search sites) to receive it, only after you grant permission in the browser prompt.
Storage — allows downloads, images, and documents to be saved to your device.
Contacts — used by the Web Contacts Picker, which lets you choose specific contacts to share with a website when it requests them.
Notifications — delivers alerts from websites you have subscribed to.
VPN (Virtual Private Network) — FAB Browser includes an optional VPN feature that routes your internet traffic through an encrypted tunnel to a remote server. When you enable the VPN, the app uses Android’s VpnService API to create a secure connection. The VPN processes your IP address and network traffic in transit but does not log, store, or inspect the content of your browsing activity. The VPN only routes traffic originating from FAB Browser itself; other apps and system services on your device are not affected. You can disconnect the VPN at any time from the browser or your device’s notification shade. (This feature is temporarily not open to Russia.)
Bluetooth — supports Web Bluetooth so websites can communicate with nearby devices (e.g., fitness trackers), and enables your phone to act as a security key, with your approval.
NFC — supports Web NFC for contactless tag reading.
Biometric (Fingerprint / Face) — locks Incognito tabs behind re-authentication and protects saved payment methods in autofill settings.

You can revoke any permission at any time through your device system settings.

Information We Process

We do not access your precise GPS coordinates unless you explicitly enable location permission for a particular website feature.

Integrated Services

FAB Browser relies on the following third-party services for infrastructure, diagnostics, and analytics:

Google Firebase — crash diagnostics, push notifications, remote configuration, performance monitoring. May collect device identifiers, crash logs, app instance IDs, and general usage metrics.
Google Analytics for Firebase — aggregated usage analytics such as session counts, screen views, engagement metrics, and demographic estimates. Data is handled under Google's own privacy policies.

How We Protect and Transfer Data

Security Practices

We apply multiple layers of protection to safeguard your information:

TLS/SSL encryption for data in transit
Role-based access controls limiting who can view personal data
Periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments
Industry-standard secure storage infrastructure

No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security. We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using strong, unique passwords.

Cross-Border Transfers

Because Rocketshield Browser Technology Limited operates globally, your data may be processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from your own. When personal data leaves the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on:

Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
Adequacy decisions recognising sufficient protection in the destination country
Binding corporate rules or equivalent safeguards where applicable

Who Receives Your Data

We never sell personal data. Sharing is limited to:

Infrastructure vendors — cloud hosting, crash reporting, and support platforms that need limited access to perform their services, bound by confidentiality contracts.
Corporate affiliates — within the Rocketshield Browser Technology Limited group for product improvement, internal analytics, or shared infrastructure.
Legal requirements — where compelled by law, valid legal process, or the need to protect user safety, defend our rights, or investigate potential policy violations.
Corporate transactions — in the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Legal Framework

Processing Grounds Under the GDPR

For individuals in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases:

FAB Browser is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you are a parent or guardian who believes a child has provided data to us, please contact support@rocketshield.co — we will delete it promptly.

Part E

Cookies and Local Data

Websites you visit may place cookies on your device; you can clear or block them through the browser settings. FAB Browser also caches web content locally to speed up page loads — cached data remains on your device and can be cleared at any time. We may use first-party identifiers to gather anonymized in-browser usage statistics.

Revisions

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices, legal landscape, or product capabilities. When we make material changes we will notify you via an in-app message, a notice on our website, or an updated revision date at the top of this page. Continued use of FAB Browser after a revision takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
